Dear CSK Friends:
It is hard to believe that so many years have gone by since my graduation
from CSK in 1973. Like many of you, I pursued my education
abroad and later settled down overseas. Over the years I stay in touch
with my classmates from CSK, especially those from 1968 Form 1 E - the last evening class in Boundary Street La Salle before we moved to Homantin. During the summer of 2004, there was
discussion of formalizing an Overseas Old Boys (CSK OOB) chapter to
supplement the existing Old Boys Association in Hong Kong. This web site
is the first step towards the goal of connecting all Overseas Old Boys
together. There are so much we, as Overseas Old Boys, can offer to the CSK
community and to each other.
With the phenomenal power of information
technology, we can overcome the geographical barriers to build our global
network. Your active participation will be the key to its success.
You can help by:
Coordination - be a
Regional coordinator or simply getting the words out.
Information support
-help maintaining a well informed CSK OOB network by
contributing to the web content and newsletter.
Technology support -
help with web sites upkeep
Be a mentor - helping
the next generation of students or other old boys
I know how hectic our daily life can be and time is always a precious
commodity. It is my hope that our collective effort will make a
difference in our lives and the
community.
Sincerely yours,
Willie Wong
